The battle between Goku and Zamasu rages on, their clash of powers intensifying. Zamasu, using his telekinetic abilities, hurls Goku to the ground, but the Saiyan retaliates with a fierce counterattack. Trunks marvels at how Goku's assaults show no sign of relenting.

Frustrated by the evolving battle, Zamasu grows enraged and decides to tear off his shirt. Caught up in boasting about his immortality, Zamasu becomes distracted, allowing Goku to strike him from behind and send him flying. However, Goku realizes that his time as a Super Saiyan Blue is running out.

Trunks notices Goku's strange behavior, and Vegeta suggests that Goku's body has reached its limit, unable to sustain the power of Super Saiyan Blue any longer. With little time left, Goku concludes that he has no choice but to unleash an all-out attack, his fist engulfed in a blue aura.

Trunks notices this and asks Vegeta what will happen if Goku uses all the power of Super Saiyan Blue in a single attack. Vegeta replies that Goku won't be able to continue fighting afterward, making this his last chance.

Suddenly, Zamasu erupts in anger, cursing Goku and vowing to destroy the entire galaxy and universe. His ki surges with tremendous ferocity, and Trunks remarks that he still possesses an overwhelming amount of power. Vegeta denies this, stating that he is in the same situation as Goku, as his aura overflows from his injured body. Blinded by rage, Vegeta is unable to properly handle the strain on his body.

Vegeta adds that if Zamasu's fusion allows him to unleash his full power without recovering his stamina, there's no way he can endure it, even if he is immortal.

Goku and Zamasu prepare to clash once again. When they draw close, Goku surprises Zamasu by using Beerus' Destruction technique. Half of Zamasu's torso disappears, but before Goku can completely eliminate him, Zamasu creates a portal and drags Mai into it, placing her in front of him, forcing Goku to stop.

Following this, Zamasu strikes Goku, incapacitating him, and takes the opportunity to regenerate the destroyed part of his body. Vegeta loses hope witnessing this turn of events. Zamasu prepares to destroy the entire planet, and Trunks attempts to attack, but he is effortlessly knocked aside with a single blow.

Before Zamasu can unleash the attack to annihilate the planet, the fusion begins to unravel. Shin remarks that exactly one hour has passed since the fusion occurred. However, the fusion doesn't completely dissolve, leaving their bodies partially fused.

Shin explains that what's happening is entirely different from Goku and Vegeta's fusion separation. Gowasu adds that it seems the two Zamasu refuse to undo the fusion. Furthermore, he mentions that the two Zamasu still share the same essence, implying a cellular-level bond.

Trunks takes advantage of the situation and cuts both Zamasu in half, fully unraveling the fusion. Afterward, he impales Black with his sword, seemingly killing him, and Goku celebrates Trunks for successfully protecting Earth.

Surprisingly, Black shoots a ki blast from the ground, incapacitating Trunks. Black rises as if nothing happened, leaving Goku confused as Black shouldn't be immortal. Black undergoes a transformation, assuming the appearance of the fused Zamasu.

Zamasu emerges behind Goku and also transforms into the fused Zamasu form. Vegeta is taken aback by the presence of two versions of the fused Zamasu. The two fusions join forces to attack Goku.

Vegeta watches as Goku is attacked and Trunks is weakened, fueling his anger. He explodes in a fit of rage, kicking Goku away and unleashing a powerful Gamma Burst that tears apart both Zamasu. Trunks scolds his father for such a reckless act after coming so close to death.

The pieces of Zamasu begin to move, attempting to regenerate. Gowasu and Shin appear, urging Vegeta and Goku to escape while they can. Goku refuses to let Zamasu continue wreaking havoc. Before they even have a chance to flee, the fragments of Zamasu fully regenerate and multiply into a massive horde of Zamasu beings.
