Krillin rallies his comrades, emphasizing the importance of fighting as a team to secure victory. Gohan agrees with him, acknowledging the validity of his point. However, their discussion is abruptly interrupted when Magetta launches a surprise attack at Gohan, narrowly evaded by the latter. Shortly after, Frost appears on the scene and swiftly kicks Krillin out of the arena, eliminating him without delay.

This action incurs the wrath of Beerus, who berates Frost, dubbing him "Baldy." Champa takes pleasure in mocking his twin brother, witnessing the elimination of one of his warriors. However, Champa's joy is short-lived as his own warrior, Dr. Rota, is also eliminated. Shin observes the rapid loss of warriors across the other universes.

Master Roshi and Tien Shinhan engage in a fierce battle against Frost. Gohan rushes to their aid, but the "Dangerous Trio" from Universe 9 stands in his way, prompting him to confront them. Meanwhile, Piccolo finds himself occupied fighting warriors from Universe 9.

Tien Shinhan employs the Kokoho technique against Frost but fails to inflict any damage. Frost retaliates with a blow to Tien's abdomen, easily eliminating him from the arena. Krillin wonders why they are being specifically targeted. He then notices Frost communicating with Frieza, revealing their secret alliance.

Krillin shouts to Goku, urging him to swiftly deal with Frost and to keep an eye on Master Roshi. As Frost prepares to attack Roshi, Goku suddenly intervenes, halting Frost's assault. Master Roshi scolds Goku for attempting to steal his opponent. Frieza arrives on the scene and advises Frost against confronting Goku, leading them both to escape.

As they make their escape, Frieza tells Frost that they should first deal with the weaker opponents remaining in the arena. He mentions a way to surpass Frost's final form and emphasizes the need to fight intelligently, suggesting they reappear when everyone else is weakened.

Gohan and Piccolo continue their battle against the warriors from Universe 9. Roselle attempts to fly Piccolo out of the arena, but Gohan rescues him just in time. Roselle nearly falls off the arena after Gohan's attack, but Hop manages to save him.

The fighters from Universe 9 regroup, preparing to confront Gohan and Piccolo together. Surprisingly, Frost appears out of nowhere and eliminates most of them with a single attack. Frost continues to fight the remaining members and eliminates all of them except the Dangerous Trio. Frieza approaches Frost, congratulating him, but then surprises him by grabbing him by the neck, warning him not to trust anyone and ultimately kicking him out of the arena.

Everyone is astonished to discover that Freeza's plan all along was to manipulate Frost into eliminating several of the weakest enemies. The Elder Kai concludes that Frieza has become a trustworthy individual in the end.

Piccolo and Gohan persist in their battle against the Dangerous Trio. They decide to attack them individually, realizing that they pose too great a challenge when they fight as a team.

While Piccolo faces one of them, Gohan confronts Basil and Lavender. However, before they can defeat them, Frieza eliminates them from the platform using his Death Beam. Gohan expresses his gratitude to Frieza, but Frieza dismisses it, stating that it holds no meaning "unless you play until the end."

Bergamo lies weakened on the ground, teetering on the edge of the platform. All Piccolo needs to do is deliver a final blow to defeat him. His comrades acknowledge that he is the last one standing in the arena, and if he is eliminated, he and the entire Universe 9 will be erased. In desperation, Bergamo pleads with Piccolo not to eliminate him and suggests they find a way to save everyone.

However, Frieza appears and ruthlessly knocks Bergamo out of the platform. As all the warriors from Universe 9 have been defeated, they suddenly vanish, and the Grand Priest announces the erasure of Universe 9. This leaves the spectators from Universe 7 in disbelief. Whis confirms that Universe 9 no longer appears in his staff. Beerus urges all the warriors from his universe to win.
