DRAGON BALL SUPER 73
Synopsis Dragon Ball Super Manga 73
The chapter unfolds with the unleashed fury of Goku, who charges at Granolah in a frenzy of attacks. The enemy's ki blasts are masterfully dodged by the agile warrior, as they venture into a hidden forest. The chase turns into a whirlwind of punches and nimble moves, with Goku unleashing a relentless onslaught. However, Granolah demonstrates uncanny ability to dodge each and every blow, until she vanishes from Goku's sight and surprises him with a devastating kick through the trees.
Goku, in a last ditch effort, manages to recover before crashing to the ground, only to be faced with a menacing fist from Granolah. However, Goku successfully blocks the blow and counterattacks, throwing Granolah against a sturdy tree. But the battle doesn't stop there, as Granolah strikes back with a vicious kick that unleashes destruction on the surrounding forest. Goku then focuses his energy and causes a rain of trees to rise into the air.
The exhausted Granolah stops and realizes that something has changed in Goku's blood and cells. He realizes that Goku has activated his automatic defense mechanisms, similar to when his hair turned red in the past. Goku states that the combination of Ultra Instinct and Super Saiyan Blue will not be so easy to defeat. With a quick teleportation, Goku appears behind Granolah, who tries to get rid of it with ki blasts, but his efforts are in vain. Finally, Goku hits him with a Kamehameha that shakes his entire being. The resulting explosion shocks even Oil, whose range can be perceived from Vegeta's location.
When Granolah gets up, he is shown exhausted and out of breath, while Goku is also on the ground, returning to his base state. Granolah defiantly tells Goku that all of his attacks are useless and that he should give up. With determination, Granolah declares his intention to destroy all the Saiyans, just as they annihilated his family. Wasting no time, Granolah uses his power to appear right in front of Goku and launch him into the air with a devastating blast. Even the inhabitants of the nearby town are aware of the magnitude of the impact. At that moment, Goku manages to teleport and appears with Vegeta in the middle of the ruins.
Goku, in severe pain, realizes that Granolah is using techniques similar to Moro's. Vegeta observes Goku's state with concern and tells him that he is going through a bad time. Goku claims that Granolah's strength and abilities are ridiculous, and he is determined to give it his all in the fight. Goku questions Vegeta about where they are, and Vegeta reveals that he knows who Granolah is. He explains that in this universe there was a race specialized in snipers, whose right eye was unique. However, Frieza used the Saiyans to destroy them, and the ruins surrounding them could be the remnants of that invasion.
Vegeta deduces that Granolah must be the last survivor of his race and that he has been tricked somehow by Maki. Although they have been discovered, Oil comments that it is too late to turn back. Vegeta is surprised to see that Goku wants to continue fighting and tells him that he has not yet used his full potential with Ultra Instinct. This statement perplexes Vegeta. Meanwhile, Granolah, through the smoke caused by his attacks, watches Goku in his Ultra Instinct form. Surprised by the lack of visible vital points, Granolah questions what kind of shape that is.
Goku explains that it is the full Ultra Instinct and since its usage time is limited, he plans to end the fight once and for all. Surprising Granolah, Goku unexpectedly punches him in the face and launches him into the air. With no time to descend, Goku continues to attack him to return him to the area of the trees. Goku approaches Granolah again and asks her to listen to him, since they don't need to keep fighting. However, Granolah refuses to listen and attacks again, only to be defeated once more by Goku. He tosses him into the air, but Granolah recovers and tries the attack again, to no avail.
Granolah's attacks fail to make contact. Finally, Goku stops him and holds him in the air, before punching him repeatedly and sending him crashing into the rocks. As Vegeta watches from a distance, he notices that Granolah's strength is undiminished and senses the presence of something near the mountain. Goku once again approaches Granolah, who admits that he didn't expect the Saiyans to be so powerful. Goku is also surprised by Granolah's strength and asks how he has trained.
Granolah replies that apparently he has underestimated the Saiyans and Goku. Goku tells him that even though the fight is over, why doesn't he train and try again? "You don't seem like a bad person," Goku comments. Granolah warns him that he is not wrong, that he has not lost at any time. "I said I made a mistake underestimating you," he says, looking confidently at Goku. He then adds that he shouldn't have split his power. Goku appears confused, unable to understand what Granolah is saying. At that moment, Granolah clarifies that what she sees in front of him is not his "true self", but just an illusion created by splitting the power of his real body. The clone suddenly disappears.
Right at that moment, Vegeta discovers what he had previously felt. He finds a ship in the mountains with Granolah inside. Before Vegeta can report Granolah's true location, he disappears from the ship. Goku, who had dropped his guard, is hit in the chest by Granolah's attack and returns to his base state. Goku takes a lot of damage and is thrown into the air by Granolah. He is completely knocked out, with his pupils even missing.
Granolah approaches Goku and reveals that he had reserved his forces for the battle against Frieza, so he chose to use a clone to kill the Saiyans. This strategy also allowed him to buy time, as he knew that the accuracy of the "silver transformation" would decrease over time. After hearing Granolah's strategy, Vegeta enters the battlefield and challenges him to a duel. Granolah wants to finish the job and kill Goku, but Vegeta gets in the way. He states that now it is his turn to face Granolah.
Granolah doesn't care who goes first, as he will only alter the order of his deaths. However, Vegeta confidently answers and assures him that he is the one who will die. "If you seek to destroy the Saiyans, I will do everything in my power to get rid of you. Prepare for your destruction, Cerelian," Vegeta says, closing the chapter.
