The manga opens with Elec, whose perplexity increases when he realizes Gas's ascension as the supreme being of the universe. One of his lackeys asks if they should enter the battlefield, but Elec, in his response, states that it is not necessary and that they should only head there once the fighting is over. Also, he warns about the dust that would fall into his wine if they witnessed the fight in that place.

Meanwhile, on Granola's side and his group, Maki and Oil wonder where Vegeta could have gone. Maki, looking for answers, questions Monite about the Saiyan's whereabouts, but the latter admits to not knowing about it. Dissatisfied with the answer, Maki requests Oil to punish the old man. Meanwhile, Vegeta, distant from the others along with Granola, urges the warrior to quickly consume the hermit's seed. Granola, surprised, feels how he regains all his strength. Vegeta urges him to hurry up and, above all, not to waste that valuable seed that he has just received. In an instant, Granola teleports between Monite and Oil, who was about to hit him.
