Synopsis Dragon Ball Super Manga 9

Botamo launches an attack at Goku, but the latter dodges and manages to counter by grabbing his arm and delivering multiple powerful blows, leaving Botamo no chance to escape from his barrage of attacks. Finally, Goku kicks him away, but it seems to have no effect on Botamo, who manages to smile. Goku realizes that his current strategy is ineffective, so he decides to prepare a Kamehameha.

Botamo evades the attack. From the stands, Master Roshi comments that Botamo hasn't received any damage yet, and his stamina remains intact. Goku himself wonders what to do with him. Piccolo states that the situation is unfavorable and if things continue like this, Goku will be the one to lose. Vegeta mentions that Goku is much stronger, but if he can't harm Botamo, he will never win.

Krillin reassures everyone, saying that Goku hasn't transformed into a Super Saiyan yet, but Vegeta adds that even with the transformation, it's unlikely he'll be able to hurt Botamo. Piccolo suggests that their only hope is to see if things change when Goku uses his full power, and Vegeta remarks that it's surprising Goku has to use his full power in the very first encounter.

Piccolo emphasizes the need to conserve as much energy as possible for the upcoming battles. Realizing that he can't inflict any damage, Goku stops and gives Botamo a gentle push, causing him to fall to the ground. With Botamo down, Goku seizes the opportunity to grab his legs and start dragging him. In response, Botamo launches Ki blasts at Goku, but he effortlessly dodges them with simple head movements.

Suddenly, Goku spins Botamo around, and Botamo tries to counterattack, but Goku grabs his arm and throws him out of the arena. This leaves all the spectators in awe. The announcer declares that Botamo has been knocked out of the ring, making Goku the winner.

Botamo thinks he sees an opportunity, but Goku proceeds to grab him from below and pushes him out of the arena. Everyone is delighted that Goku emerged victorious. Beerus thinks Goku used his brain this time, but he starts to notice someone else. Beerus is surprised that Goku did that because he thought Goku wasn't very intelligent.

The next match begins immediately, and it's between Goku and Frost, the fighter who resembles Frieza. All eyes are on him. Tien Shinhan wonders if this is the Frieza from Universe 6, and Master Roshi says that if it is, they're in serious trouble.

To everyone's surprise, Frost greets Goku amiably and extends his hand, telling him with a smile that it's a pleasure to meet him and they should do their best. Therefore, it is assumed that he is not evil, and his personality is completely different from Frieza's.

The fight begins, and Frost rushes to attack Goku. Goku manages to kick Frost and sends him flying, but Frost quickly recovers and swiftly returns to Goku, clasping his leg with his tail, leaving Goku vulnerable to a kick. Goku is sent flying, and Frost goes after him but quickly disappears, causing Frost to hit the ring floor.

Debris flies toward Whis and Beerus, but Whis blocks it effortlessly using just his fingers. He mentions that both fighters are playing their cards carefully, and Beerus remarks that it's quite tedious. Goku and Frost continue exchanging blows in a fiercely contested battle.

Goku asks Frost if he's just trying to gauge his true power. Frost denies it. Goku asks him to transform into his final form, and Frost wonders how Goku knows about it. Goku explains that he has fought someone from Universe 7 who looks a lot like him. Frost asks if the Universe 7 version was able to defeat him, and Goku suggests it's better not to answer, so Frost takes it as a no.

Frost gains the upper hand, and the Universe 6 spectators believe he will win. Elder Kaioshin tells them not to celebrate prematurely and chuckles. Frost tells Goku to withdraw before he gets hurt, but Goku calmly gets up and tells him that he enjoys starting slow. Goku senses that Frost is hiding another transformation and assumes it's for the upcoming matches. He transforms into a Super Saiyan, leaving the Universe 6 audience bewildered. Vados remarks that Goku is no ordinary Saiyan. Frost feels fear as Goku threatens to end the match quickly if he doesn't reveal his true form.
