Why MADARA saved OBITO?

One of the most intriguing questions that has puzzled Naruto fans for years is why Madara Uchiha chose to save Obito after he was crushed by a rock during a mission. At the time, Obito was just a young, inexperienced Genin, and yet Madara, one of the series' most legendary and feared villains, decided to rescue him and heal his serious injuries. This moment has sparked endless theories and speculation, so let's dive in and try to uncover the true reason behind Madara’s surprising decision.

The truth is, Madara didn’t save Obito out of kindness or a desire to do good. His motives were far darker and more calculated. Madara saw Obito as a tool—a pawn he could manipulate to further his own goals. Rather than acting out of compassion, Madara’s decision was part of a carefully thought-out plan to use Obito as a means to revive his own ambitions, ones he had failed to achieve during his lifetime.

At the time, Madara was on the brink of death, weakened and dependent on the Gedo Statue he had summoned after awakening the Rinnegan. Despite his frailty, Madara had a grand plan in mind. He orchestrated the attack on Kakashi’s team and Rin’s death, knowing that the loss would play a crucial role in his larger scheme. But why Obito? Why choose this particular young shinobi over others?

Madara knew exactly who Obito was. He understood that Obito had awakened the Sharingan and, more importantly, he knew the depth of Obito's feelings for Rin Nohara. This emotional connection was key to Madara’s strategy. He realized that if Obito witnessed Rin’s tragic death, it would trigger the awakening of the Mangekyo Sharingan, amplifying Obito’s power. However, this power would come at a cost—Obito would become emotionally shattered and vulnerable, leaving him open to Madara’s manipulation.
